The Ivo Algorithm for detecting Borg comms traffic.

IN 2377, USS Plenty Communcations officer Ivo Salatka created an algorithm for detecting Borg communicatons traffic.

While traveling on special assignment to Nerendra Staton aboard the USS Avandar, Ivo encounted an alternate-universe version of the Borg (the Amalgam).

During this encounter, Ivo created an algorithm to detect and identify Bog communications traffic that had previously gone unnoticed by traditional Federation protocols.

The Ivo Algorithm also has limited capacity to triangulate locations based on Borg signals tunneling through subspace and alternate dimensions.
